Originally based in Coventry, Brown & Holmes moved to Tamworth during World War II to avoid the bombing raids. Today, our Tamworth sites continue to house our machining, fabrication, and work-holding facilities – supporting decades of precision engineering expertise.

As customer demand grew, and the volume of work expanded, we made the strategic decision to establish a dedicated site in Derby to focus on defence and complex projects. This expansion reflects our commitment to supporting high-integrity, mission-critical programmes for the UK and allied partners.

At Brown & Holmes (Derby), we predominantly supply surface and sub-surface platforms for defence programmes.
